Jellyfishes

What a day we had today,

We went off on a walk, hopping along the seashore,

Spotting washed up jellyfishes,

Mostly brown out of pink ones,

We looked and studied how they were 
And what was happening to them under the sun,

The dog bounced merrily along with us,

He yapped and barked at the sun.

Oh my, what an afternoon of fun.

Oh look we exclaim, 

There's bladder wrack growing on the sea wall, 

It looks like a scene from 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

You could almost see old 'Long John Silver',

There on the big brown rocks,

Smiling back at us.

There are lots more jellyfish,

Further along bobbing along in the sea,

The sun keeps shining and there are lots of people diving off the pier,

This could be one of the best days of the year to be here.
